Why that matters
A certified boiler engineer is hard to find these days
Working on a gas boiler is not a job you fit in alongside something else. A flue connected wrongly or a boiler that is not set up properly is something you will not smell or hear. That is why only a certified company may work on a gas-fired installation.
And that is exactly where the market is stuck: there are fewer and fewer of them. We have them in house. That is why the boiler is not a sideline next to the bathroom for us, but a trade in its own right.

What we do
From an old boiler to the yearly check
Whether your boiler has just given up or you want to get ahead of it: we take the whole changeover on, from the old one off the wall to the new one running.
01 — Replacing
Old boiler out, new one in
We take the old boiler off the wall, cart it away and hang the new one. Pipework, flue and the thermostat we connect straight away. You do not have to arrange anything.

02 — Fitting
A new boiler, in a new spot too
During a renovation the boiler often ends up somewhere else. We run the pipework there, hang it and then simply make the wall good again afterwards. That saves you a second firm.

What people ask about the boiler
Do you also do just the boiler?
Yes. You do not have to order a renovation alongside it. Only a new boiler, only the service or only a look at why it is not working is fine too.
Do you service a boiler you did not fit?
Yes. Which make is hanging there and who once hung it makes no difference.
Who is actually allowed to touch my boiler?
Only a certified company. That is not a badge that looks nice on a van, it is a requirement: a gas-fired installation is about combustion and about getting the flue gases out, and you cannot tell by looking whether that is right. Our engineers are certified.
Does my boiler need replacing or has it still got life in it?
We will only say once we have seen it. A boiler that has been serviced properly lasts a good deal longer than one that has not been opened up for years. We will not sell you something you do not need.
Can the boiler be moved during a renovation?
Yes, and that is one of the reasons to leave it with one company. We run the pipework, move the boiler and make the wall good again afterwards.
What does a new boiler cost?
That depends on the type of boiler, where it is going to hang and what has to happen to the pipework. That is why there is no amount on this page. We come and look and then you get a price on paper.
