Finished bathroom with a walk-in shower behind a black-framed glass panel, a wall-hung toilet and an oak vanity unit

Bathroom

Your bathroom, from strip-out to silicone

Breaking out, pipework, walls flat, tiles, sanitary ware and fitting. All by the same team, so nothing falls between the cracks. Pick a package or let us put yours together.

One team, one point of contact

No plumber waiting on the tiler. We plan the steps back to back ourselves.

Material through our buying

We buy in tiles, sanitary ware and taps. If we do the work, you buy along with us.

We come and measure

No showroom you have to visit. We measure up at your home and only then work out the price.

Packages

Three ways to go about it

Most bathrooms fall into one of these three. That way you see up front what is included and what is not, instead of a list of line items you have to work out for yourself. The materials are in the amount: the tiles, the sanitary ware and the taps come through our buying and are not charged on top. If your room is different, we shift the package around it.

Refresh

The layout stays as it is. Everything you can see goes out, everything behind it stays put. For a bathroom that is still sound technically but no longer looks it.

About those packages

A package is a starting point, you are not tied to anything

Two bathrooms of the same size can be far apart. What has to come out, what turns up behind the tiles and what you pick decide the price more than the number of square metres. That is why we come and look and measure up first, and only then put an amount on paper.

  • If what you want sits between two packages, we take something out or add something.
  • Only the tiling or only the sanitary ware is fine too. A package is not a condition.
  • The amount is work and materials together. Tiles, sanitary ware and taps run through our buying and are not charged on top.
  • If you pick something dearer than what the package lists, you see on paper exactly what that difference is.
  • If you have already bought something, we fit that just as happily and it comes off the amount.

Why one company

A bathroom is never just tiles

Behind a neatly tiled wall sits a lot of work you will never see again. The old room has to come out, pipework has to be run for the shower and the basin, the waste needs its fall, the walls need to be flat, and only then can a tile go on.

Split that over four firms and you are always waiting for the next one, and everybody points at each other the moment something is off. With us the same team does every step, so the one laying the pipe already knows where the tile is going.

  • Strip-out, carting the rubble away and keeping the dust inside the door as much as we can.
  • Water, waste and electrics where your new layout needs them.
  • Walls and floor flat, because every tile shows it up later.
  • Fitting, sealing and clearing up are simply part of it.

How it goes

From empty room to finished bathroom

We work a bathroom through in fixed steps. That way you know where we are and nothing sits still for a week halfway through.

01 — Strip-out

The old bathroom out

Tiles, sanitary ware and old pipework out, down to the bare wall and floor. We cover the route through the house and take the rubble away ourselves. Only once the room is bare do you see what really needs doing, and we go through that with you before we carry on.

02 — Pipework and walls

Everything you will not see later

Water, waste and electrics to where your new layout needs them. Concealed cistern and shower drain built in, walls and floor made flat and tanked where they should be. This is the step that decides whether the tiling comes out straight.

Underfloor heating in as well

03 — Tiles and sanitary ware

Tiling, sanitary ware and fitting

Wall and floor tiled, small format or large panels, and then the sanitary ware goes in: toilet, basin, shower or bath, taps and radiator. Silicone last, neatly in one line. We clear up and hand the room over clean.

More about the tiling

Often comes with it

What people have done at the same time

If the bathroom is open anyway, the rest of the floor is often easy to take along. That saves you a second round of mess.

How long can I not shower?

A bathroom is a couple of weeks of work, and for part of that you cannot use it. Exactly how long depends on the room and on what has to happen to the pipework. We tell you up front and we plan it in one run, so nothing sits still for a week.

Do we have to move out?

Almost nobody does. We cover the walking route, keep the dust inside the bathroom as much as possible and clear up at the end of the day. If you only have one toilet, say so when we measure up and we take that into account in the planning.

Do we buy the sanitary ware ourselves or do you?

Either works. We buy at tile and flooring shops and have a network of suppliers, so if we do the work you buy along with us. If you have already picked something out or have it standing somewhere, we fit that just as happily.

Do you also do just part of the bathroom?

Yes. Only the tiling, only a new shower or only replacing the sanitary ware is fine too. That you can leave all of it with us does not mean you have to.

What does a bathroom cost?

That depends on the size of the room, on what has to come out and on what you choose. Two bathrooms of the same size can be far apart. The three packages show what is in there in any case, so you know what you are comparing. Those guide prices are work and materials together, VAT included. We only put the amount for your bathroom next to it once we have seen the room.

Are the materials included in a package price?

Yes. A package price with us is work and materials together, VAT included. The tiles, the sanitary ware, the taps and the small materials run through our buying and are not charged on top afterwards. We come along to the shop to choose, and what you pick counts towards the amount you are given. If you pick something dearer than what the package lists, you see on paper exactly what that difference is. If you have already bought tiles or sanitary ware yourself, we fit that just as happily and it comes off the amount.

Do I have to choose a package?

No. The packages are there so you can see what normally belongs and what does not, because that is where people come unstuck with quotes. If you want Complete with underfloor heating but without the lowered ceiling, that is simply what you get. We price what you want, not a box.

Can the layout be different from how it is now?

Usually yes. The shower somewhere else or turning the toilet around is a matter of moving pipework, and we do that ourselves. The waste is where the limit sits: it has to keep its fall. When we measure up we tell you straight away what can and cannot be done.

Do you speak English on site?

Yes. You can call, WhatsApp or email us in English, and the quote comes to you in English. On site the day-to-day is a mix of Dutch and English, so if something is not clear, say it and we will go through it again.

Bathroom due for replacement?

One line about your room is enough. We call you back and come and measure. A request commits you to nothing.
